The 2026 Coastal Plain League season is set to begin in about a month or so – May 28th. I am so excited to attend my local CPL team, the Peninsula Pilots, at historic War Memorial Stadium. The 2026 roster of CPL teams has shifted a bit, with the Wilson Tobs dropping out and the Zebulon Devil Dogs being added to the league. There are some many amazing baseball stories every game, every season, so I cannot wait for the 2026 Coastal Plain League season to begin. Here is the 2026 CPL Schedule of games, downloaded from the CPL website. Note: at the bottom of the schedule, you will see the team abbreviations.
A few other items to note from the schedule. Opening Day/Night is Thursday, May 28th with an impressive 7 games scheduled. The 2026 Coastal Plain League All-Star Fan Fest and Game is scheduled for Monday, July 6th and Tuesday July 7th. The All-Star Fan Fest and Game will be held at Carolina Bank Field, home of the Florence Flamingos, Florence, South Carolina. The season runs from May 28th – August 1st, then playoffs and championships run until about the 10th of August. Last but not least, it looks like the first Peninsula Pilots home game will be Friday, May 29th with the Pilots facing the Zebulon Devil Dogs at historic War Memorial Stadium, Hampton, Virginia.
