Check Out My Baseball Places Page Of Baseball Fields I Have Visited

To take the stress off the final 6 games of the 2025 Major League Baseball season, in which my Boston Red Sox may or may not make the postseason, I have been working on my baseball places maps. On my Baseball Parks and Places Map page, I am documenting the baseball fields, museums, and interesting locations from my travels here in Virginia, back home in Rhode Island, and all over the United States of America. I have been so fortunate to have had the opportunity (and timing) to see baseball fields from California to Maine, from Washington State to Florida. Here is an updated map of MLB, MILB, and Independent League stadiums I have visited and written about:

Inside the map, if you click on the baseball icon, you can see a photo I took at the park and which team plays at that particular baseball stadium. By last count, I am up to 53 MLB, MILB, and professional stadiums. And I still have a few to enter. Pretty cool that I am over 50 and my goal is well over 100.

Now, let’s take a look at some of the college, high school, and summer collegiate baseball fields and parks I have visited. This list tops 70 and I have a ton more to enter. I recently just started to enter in the high school baseball fields from Rhode Island and parts of New England. Here in Virginia, I have so many to get to and I cannot wait. So this number is sure to go way over 100 soon!

Finally, here are just some of the interesting places I have visited over the past 2 decades of writing about baseball. Cooperstown pretty much tops the list, followed closely by the film location of “The Natural” and the video shoot location for Bruce Springsteen’s “Glory Days” music video. And the commemorative plaque where the first organized baseball game was played just outside New York City in nearby Elysian Park, Hoboken, New Jersey.

If I had to ballpark (no pun intended) how many baseball fields I have visited and documented over my lifetime, it would approach or possibly exceed 1,000. I love the uniqueness of every baseball field I visit. And that is why I will visit any baseball field in any village, town, or city. Do you have a great baseball park story that you would like to share with me? Great, I love a great baseball park story. Send it to me, with some photos, and I just might share it on my blog and social media pages.
