Convince me otherwise, agree with me, debate the topic – bring it on. For my money and time and camera lens, the Galilee section of Rhode Island is the most picturesque location in the Ocean State. You have the tourist season busy-ness coupled with the off season locals coming out of the sandbars. You have the Block Island ferries, the lobster boats, the canal that divides Galilee with Jerusalem (Rhode Island). You have Georges of Galilee and Salty Brine Beach and Roger Wheeler Beach and the summer homes and the Tiki Bar and the Ice Cream shops. Galilee is an incredible spot to visit year round, just dress appropriately. Here are 8 photos I have taken over the years that show why I love Galilee, Rhode Island so much!
