Congrats to all Scouts from Pack One Saunderstown

At a recent ceremony, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts gathered with friends and family for the annual graduation ceremony.  Wolfs became Bears.  Bears became Webelo 1.  Webelo 1 become Webelos 2, and so on.  Scouts were brought up with their groups and the Advancement Trail proceedings commenced.   Oaths were taken and faces were painted.  Cameras flashed and the crowd cheered each group for their outstanding community service work.  Congratulations to all of the participants and parents who support Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in our community.  Special thanks to the Pack Leaders of Pack One Saunderstown for their hours and … Continue reading Congrats to all Scouts from Pack One Saunderstown

North Kingstown Recreation Department Summer Program – Tennis and Coach Cristelle Fox

Wickford Middle School performed their Spring Concert last night at the North Kingstown High School. Led by Michael Iadevaia, Mr. I., these talented young men and women performed before a packed crowd in the auditorium of NKHS.  The Wickford Middle School Band and Jazz Band have achieved superior ratings in band and jazz festivals recently.  It has been a highly successful year for everyone involved in the music program at Wickford Middle School. Don’t Fall for the “Microsoft Tech Support” Scam

Known as the “Windows Support Scam” or “Tech Support Scam”, you may have received this unsolicited phone call from individuals posing as Microsoft Windows tech support. The scammers claim that your computer has notified them that there are “corrupt files” or malicious software that needs to be fixed. The caller then walks the consumer through a series of computer commands, allegedly “fixing the issue”, but actually installing malware or other software that allows the scam artist to remotely control the computer. From the Wickford Little League offices: 1. The annual Home Run Derby is coming up this weekend.  It will take place on Saturday May 16th at 4:30pm.  It is a great fundraising event for all age groups and we encourage ALL kids to take part whether you think they are sluggers or not.
