Wickford Little League Awards Night – High Fives, Trophies, and Memories Galore

Wickford Little League held its Annual Awards Banquet on Monday, September 12th.  The banquet was held at Quonset’s “O” Club, just passed the North Kingstown Golf Course.  Player, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and family members gathered to honor the many, many great things that make Wickford Little League a Rhode Island tradition for over 50 years.  President Arnie Sarazen presided over the event as emcee.  Raffles from sponsors as well as other prizes were available during the night, with some great prizes being handed out.  Dinner was delicious, the mood was festive, and the Wickford Little League community was in great … Continue reading Wickford Little League Awards Night – High Fives, Trophies, and Memories Galore

40th and Final Pilkington Tournament Taking Place Friday August 19th

A few months back, The NK Blog wrote about local entrepreneur Deanna Russo and her company, Bow-K.  Deanna sent me a message through social media regarding a special event that she wanted to post and share on the NK Blog.  The event is called “The Pilkington Memorial Golf Tournament.”  Remarkably, this is the 40th year the event has taken place.  And, this marks the final year, according to event planners, of the tournament.  The tournament is taking place at Laurel Lane Country Club in West Kingston. Star Wars, The Force Awakens Part of NK’s Movies On The Beach
