Local Musicians Play Season’s First Wickford Harbor Lights

NK Teen Musicians To Play Benefit Show At Wickford Harbor Lights

Over the past several months, I have been blessed to host some of North Kingstown’s talented youth musicians in a number of benefit shows.  These shows showcase the very talented singers, guitar players, piano players, and musicians that live and go to North Kingstown schools.  And, each show has a benefit theme.  The first show raised over $200 for North Kingstown Special Olympics.  The second and most recent show benefited the Pennies for Patients fundraiser that helps support the Rhode Island Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  The shows are all upbeat, feature some amazing musical talents, and are a great way … Continue reading NK Teen Musicians To Play Benefit Show At Wickford Harbor Lights

Opening Day for Wickford and North Kingstown American Little League a Huge Success

Amazing turnout for today’s Wickford and North Kingstown American Little League Opening Day Parade.  Teams, coaches, volunteers, and families watched and cheered as the Wickford and North Kingstown Little Leagues marched together.  Kids of all ages braved the chilly conditions as they marched from Wickford Middle School, through Wickford Village and ended up at Wilson Park.  T-ball, Single A, AA, AAA, and Majors division teams lined up together.  Presidents Arnie Sarazen and Todd Mascena said a few words to the crowd. 2nd NK Teen Open Mic Benefits Pennies for Patients Charity

NK High School Senior Sara Barker’s Rally for the Jimmy Fund

What do you get when you have a talented cast of actors, musicians, and production staff coupled with brilliant leadership by the teachers at North Kingstown High School?
