I am excited and eagerly anticipating my first baseball show and tell event happening this Saturday, January 17. The show and tell event will take place at the Bayside Library off Independence Blvd in my new hometown of Virginia Beach, VA. This show and tell event is a live event geared towards sharing baseball memorabilia with other baseball fans. I am planning on bringing in a few items myself to share in the show and tell format. For those of you interested who live in Virginia Beach and/or surrounding areas, here is what you can expect:

Let’s say you played college baseball ten years ago, twenty years ago, fifty years ago. Maybe you played in a championship game or threw a no-hitter or hit a game winning home run – and someway, somehow you kept the baseball from your special game. Well, you already have the story, now you can bring in this special baseball and tell myself and the audience how you got it, why you kept it, and any other fun fact you may have about the baseball. That’s just one example.
Here is another:

Let’s say you have the book “The Natural” and got it signed by Roy Hobbs himself, Robert Redford. Or maybe the author, Bernard Malamud. Bring in the book, show us the autograph, tell us how you got their autograph, and maybe why you liked the book.
Here is another:

Let’s say you have a game ticket to a famous baseball park. You went to the game, you met a player, you met a coach, you met an owner. You have a tangible ticket to go with your story. Show us the ticket and tell us the story. It’s really that simple. Here is more about the event and what you need to know:
Any questions or concerns, message me. I hope to see you Saturday at Bayside Library. Free event, open to the public, 11am to 12noon.
