I was gutted to see the horrific news over the past 24 hours at Providence, RI’s Brown University. Watching it from six states away, the news of the on-campus incident really hit home. I know the area very well, I know the campus very well, and visited often as a youth and adult. My thoughts and best wishes go out to all the Brown University, East Side of Providence, and Thayer Street community members dealing with this tragedy.
