After the rains came the games, for most of the summer collegiate and amateur baseball leagues (SCABL) throughout the country. Hey, it’s not raining everywhere in the USA is it? There are tons of great games all over the map. Here are some of the box scores and game recaps I am following this morning, as well as some schedule previews for games coming up this week.
The 2025 Men’s College World Series is set – 8 teams with 8 different background stories, one goal. Who you got?

4 games, plus 1 doubleheader in the Old North State League last night. I had a chance to go to the Edenton Steamers, aka Rocky Hock Gnats, game vs the VB Valor last night. Here is my experience at Hicks Field and for the record, it was incredible!
Four games played in the Coastal Plain League last night. Asheboro Zookeepers put a hurting on the Catawba Valley Stars 14-0. Asheboro sits in 2nd place in the West Division, just one game behind the Forest City Owls. The Peninsula Pilots sit atop the East Division at 8-0.
NABA Richmond action tonight and here is yet another amazing piece of graphic artistry – this one featuring the matchup of Dirt Devils vs Richmond Misfits.
You see the post, now go to the games. Free Baseball, what more can you ask for. Thank you Mystic Schooners!
Congrats to Manager Donnie Scott on his 500th Win in the Northwoods League. Scott manages the Madison Mallards.
5 games played in the New England Collegiate Baseball League last night. Including an 18-4 drubbing by the Newport Gulls over the Valley Blue Sox. Have a night Andreaus Lewis – 4 for 4 with 6 RBIs!

Stay tuned throughout the week for more game recaps, IG posts, box scores, schedules, promotions, and more from the world of summer collegiate and amateur baseball leagues (SCABL). And as always, if you have any box scores, photos, or game recaps that you would like me to post, send them to me.
