Introducing The Baseball Storyteller – A New Baseball Blog Site Focused on Baseball Stories

For the past year or so, my blog site has been called “The Rhiter.” Formerly, I was the Rhode Island Baseball Experience. Why? Because I immersed myself into the Rhode Island Baseball community of teams, leagues, events, fundraisers, players, coaches, and so much more. Moving to Virginia in the fall of 2023, and still wanting to write about baseball, I needed to pivot from the “RIBBE” and its Rhode Island based content. So, I become “The RHITER.” RHITER is a clever play on words and spelling because it combines Rhode Island with Writer. See how I did that? Pretty clever right, right??? Well, now that I am settled here in Virginia, I want to really make a splash doing what I love best – writing baseball stories. No offense to the Weim Crime duo below!!!

So, as of September 1, this website and blog will migrate over to become The Baseball Storyteller. Same writer, yours truly. Slightly different format, which I will explain in September. Mostly similar layout, but more focused on photography and captions. Way more stories, way more baseball news, way more baseball stuff to get excited about. I will be drawing from a wide range of sources including family, friends, co-workers, folks I meet in the ballpark to allow me to share their stories and experiences with baseball. I’m really excited to get started and share some of these amazing stories with you.

Here is the new baseball blog site address for those of you who have enjoyed my work these past 10 years or so – www.baseballstoryteller.com. I will be switching over my social media pages in the coming months as well. Stay tuned for those links.

One final note, I wanted to wish a Happy Anniversary to my wife Rachel, who has been such a great sport and supporter all these years in allowing me to be a baseball storyteller. I married a 10, she married a 4, and I kiss my Claddagh ring every day that she is in my life. Love you honey, you are the best!!!
