Cougar Maine was a maker He and his family lived near a junkyard Cougar would sneak into the junkyard and get stuff He would create sculptures and art from metal, wood, glass.
At age 10, he found a guitar in the truck of a junk car He polished it, got new strings, a guitar book He taught himself a few chords Would whistle and yodel and gibberishly sing while playing
At age 12, he befriended the junkyard owner, Bucky Chase With Bucky's blessing, he began to rebuild an old junk truck Cougar would gather interesting parts from other junk cars At age 14, he faked his ID to take an automobile course online
Cougar would use his new knowledge to rebuild the old junk truck He called it "The Big Ole Truck" Every part from the inside and out was a repurposed part Bucky stood back and reveled in Cougar creating "The Big Ole Truck"
One afternoon, Cougar unfolded a lawn chair in front of his creation He picked up his guitar and started to play some cowboy chords Out of his creative mind, he began to hum along with the chords And then mouth the words to the song all songs
It's a Big Ole Truck And I don't give a fuck Yeah a Big Ole Truck And it don't get stuck
Like it was meant to me, at that moment the wind picked up A floppy, beat up cowboy hat tossed itself over to Cougar's feet Cougar picked it, dusted it off, and plopped it on his head And so began the new attitude and the start of Cougar's adventures.
Stay tuned for more Big Ole Adventures of Cougar Maine, as Cougar finishes the Big Ole Truck and takes her out for a spin!
