Could A Band Pull Off A Kick Ass Concert At The Plum Beach Lighthouse?

Not every time, but nearly every time I drive over the Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge and observe the amazing Plum Beach Lighthouse, I wonder…Could a band pull off a kick ass concert right there on the cement and rocks of the lighthouse? In years passed, has a band ever traveled over to the lighthouse and set up amps and a drum set and microphones and played a set for boaters in Narragansett Bay? If the lighthouse doesn’t have power, the band/roadies/crew could bring a generator or two to power up their guitars, amps, microphones, etc. With the backdrop of the bridge, the North Kingstown shoreline, Narragansett Bay, it would be a spectacular venue to host a very unique concert. Maybe a gigantic superstar would take the plunge and do a gig at the Plum Beach Lighthouse. I know Jimmy Fallon is always doing outrageous and spontaneous concerts in the NYC Subway with big name artists. Can you imagine being out on Narragansett Bay one sunny, summer Saturday with your buddies sailing around Plum Beach and then you hear a band jamming over there at the Lighthouse? Can you imagine being out with your friends and family doing some waterskiing or fishing near the bridge and hear and see in person the Foo Fighters or the Black Keys or Taylor Swift or Chris Stapleton rocking out on the rocks? Wouldn’t that blow your mind!!! Personally, I think it would be an incredible venue to host an incredibly unique musical event!!!
