Through Bandits Baseball RI Director of Operations David Roy, I got to learn more about the 2022 Bandits 16u Showcase Team’s summer long baseball journey. Coach Roy and I have stayed in contact over the years about the Bandits organization and I always look forward to his photos, updates, and player profiles. This weekend, Coach Roy emailed me about the 16U Showcase team that has “been tearing it up. Been to Camps at Stonybrook, UConn, Yale, Northeastern and Rutgers. Playing top competition from around the country and Canada.” He sent me a photo album of team photos, on site tours, some game action, and the teammates having a blast this summer. Great photos and wow, what an amazing experience for this Bandits 16U Showcase team and their families. To get to tour some of the top New England colleges and universities, tour their weight rooms and practice facilities, then play competitive games on their fields – that must have been a thrilling experience for the players, coaches, and families. Amazing work here by the Bandits Baseball organization to get these players some big time exposure to the next level of baseball.
