2022 Rhode Island Collegiate Baseball Team Schedules Released

The 2022 Collegiate Spring Baseball Season is fast approaching. For some Rhode Island collegiate baseball teams, their first game of 2022 is less than 30 days away. Others start later in the Spring both here in Rhode Island and on the road playing games further south. The social media hype machines are already cranking out photos, schedules, and promoting their much anticipated 2022 Spring Collegiate Baseball Season. Here are some snapshots from Instagram pages I follow:

I have downloaded all of the Rhode Island University and College baseball team schedules into my Google Calendar, which you can find on my home page as well as my Rhode Island Baseball Events Page. Throughout the Spring, I will be highlighting and sharing game schedules on my social media pages. If you can and you have the time, go to see a local RI College or University baseball team play! Having been to tons of games over the years, it is well worth it!!! Here is what it looks like for Spring 2022 (scroll through the months with the left and right button):

Here are some specific matchups that I have circled on my personal calendar. Why? Because they feature two Rhode Island schools facing each other, each with multiple players from Rhode Island area high schools, proving once again that the Rhode Island baseball community is strong on the collegiate level.

  • March 18 – 20 – Bryant vs URI, @ Beck Field, URI
  • March 22nd – Salve Regina vs Rhode Island College, @ Pontarelli Field, RIC
  • March 28th – CCRI vs Rhode Island College, @ Pontarelli Field, RIC
  • March 29th – Bryant vs Brown, @ Murray Stadium, Brown
  • March 29th – Rhode Island College vs Johnson & Wales, @ Pontarelli Field, RIC
  • April 5th – Salve Regina vs Roger Williams, @ Paolino Field, RWU
  • April 5th – Bryant vs URI, @ Conaty Field, Bryant
  • April 12th – Brown vs URI, @ Beck Field, URI
  • April 19th – Johnson & Wales vs Roger Williams @ JWU-Providence

Please note, all of these games and times are subject to change. Keep an eye on the weather, keep an eye on each college or university’s baseball page online, check social media, follow the teams on Instagram – long story, short – double check with the team before heading out to watch them play this Spring. Fingers crossed, Rhode Island weather will cooperate and every player, coach, and organization will remain in good health so we can have a full collegiate baseball season in 2022!
